What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for bulk export? +
MOQ varies by SKU and destination, but most bulk export lines start at 25–100 kg per SKU for first orders, with scaled pricing for container loads (LCL / FCL). Private-label programmes have separate MOQs. Share your product and destination at [email protected] and we respond within one business day with a firm MOQ and quote.
What is your lead time from PO to FOB Hyderabad? +
Standard lead time is 2–4 weeks from signed PO and advance receipt to FOB Hyderabad / Chennai, depending on SKU, packaging format, and lot availability. Pre-tested in-stock lots can ship in 7–10 days. We share a binding production and documentation schedule inside the proforma invoice.
Which Incoterms and ports do you support? +
We ship FOB and CIF on all major routes, usually from Hyderabad ICD or Chennai Sea Port, and can originate from JNPT (Nhava Sheva) on request. CFR, CPT, DAP, and DDP can be quoted for qualified programmes. Phytosanitary certificate, Certificate of Origin, packing list, and commercial invoice are provided for every shipment.
Do you provide destination-compliant documentation for EU, US, UK and UAE? +
Yes. We provide destination-specific compliance packages aligned to EU (EFSA / EC 1334/2008), US (FDA), UK (FSA), UAE (ESMA), and Australia (FSANZ) requirements — including ETO non-detect certificates, coumarin reports for Ceylon cinnamon, heavy-metal screens, and ingredient spec sheets on buyer letterheads where required.
What certifications and registrations do you hold? +
SpiceModo is APEDA registered and FSSAI registered. Every lot is tested at NABL-accredited laboratories. Each shipment is accompanied by phytosanitary certificate and Certificate of Origin. Can I request a sample and a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis before ordering? +
Yes. We ship evaluation samples to qualified buyers and share the corresponding NABL-accredited CoA — active compound content, ETO, moisture, heavy metals, and microbial parameters — so the lot you evaluate is the spec you buy. Request via the Contact page or email [email protected].
Do you verify active compound content (curcumin, piperine, capsaicin, coumarin)? +
Yes. Active compounds are quantified by HPLC on every lot: Lakadong Turmeric ≥7% curcumin, Malabar Black Pepper ≥4.5% piperine, Bhut Jolokia 3–5% capsaicin, and Ceylon Cinnamon coumarin reported in ppm (well within EU EFSA limits). Results are on the CoA.
Do you offer private-label and custom packaging? +
Yes. For qualified B2B buyers we offer private-label packaging across retail (50g, 100g, 200g) and bulk (5kg, 10kg, 25kg) formats, plus custom grind sizes and regional blends. We can print artwork to your brand guidelines, apply regulatory label elements by destination, and consolidate multiple SKUs per carton.
What payment terms and currencies do you accept? +
First-order terms are typically 30% advance / 70% against shipping documents, or irrevocable LC at sight through your bank. Recurring buyers can negotiate partial credit terms. We invoice in USD, EUR, GBP, and AED via our AD Category-I bank; INR invoicing is supported for India-based consignees.
Are your spices ETO-free and safe for European import clearance? +
Yes. All SpiceModo spices are tested for ethylene oxide residue by NABL-accredited labs and ship as ETO non-detect (ND). An ETO certificate accompanies every EU-bound shipment, supporting frictionless customs clearance under EU EFSA and national competent-authority checks.
